Special Gorilla Feeding
What a wonderful way to support a cause and at the same time help make a difference for children and adults in need of 21st century technology skills.
Our Bit by Byte event provided the ambience of the jungle as we wined and dined in the Mzima Springs Pavilion at the Zoo of Atlanta. This year we featured a special after-hours showing of the Gorillas. From a separate deck, guests were able to view the Gorillas and listen to their trainer provide little-known facts about their natural habitat and environment.
Have a Little Bit of Country in Your Soul?
Country Cowboy Poet, Joel Hayes, started off the evening with his rendition of "Computer Ranching." Afterwards, the band, Project Zero, from Canton, GA livened things up with their classic rock sounds.
Those individuals with a talent for karaoke, competed in our first Annual Sound Byte Award competition for the best Country & Western performer(s). DJ, Steve Schreck of Dynamic Sound, provided a huge selection of music for everyone to choose from. The winner received a solid gold metal microphone trophy ordered directly from Hollywood, California.
MEET THE JUDGES
Heidi Higgins and
Ebony Childs of Jan Smith Studios volunteered to judge our competition this year. It was a hard job, but they were able to make more than one person happy. Read more about their qualifications and the story on our winner(s) under the Entertainment section.
